Dear We Own It Summit Collaborators & Supporters,

As we prepare for our second annual We Own It Summit, the outgrowth of a year of conversations among twenty-four impressive organizations, we would like to engage you in discussions leading up to the Summit via our newsletter and blog. We are proud to host Cherie Blair as this year’s key note and speaker and look forward to sharing both efforts achieved and hurdles to face as we impact women leaders of high-growth companies.

Representing a cross-section of entrepreneurs, investors, academia, government, media, nonprofit, and industry, our discussion focus on identifying and ultimately breaking down barriers for women in high-growth entrepreneurship—across the pipeline—from college graduate, to founder and CEO, to investment professional.

The 2011 We Own It Summit will take place in London on June 10th. The goal is to drive collaboration, energize the global discussion, and create a roadmap for increasing women’s participation in high-growth entrepreneurship.

The We Own It Summit is the venue for leaders (women and men!) to annually come together to articulate their respective visions, identify opportunities to collaborate and build alliances, share research and findings, and create a shared policy agenda.

Leading up to the Summit, we are honored to present snapshots of the discussions that will take place at the Summit, some of the outreach and actions taken this year based on last year’s goals, and implementing the body of ideas into actions.

Sincerely,

Lesa Mitchell                                                              Sharon Vosmek
